i didn’t go crazy shopping the flea, but i did bring home a few things for me. crochet scarf, leather belt bag, crochet covered camp stool, genius necklaces made from spoon handles (why oh WHY?! did I not buy more of these. kicking myself), and finally a few old lavender glass bottles that are actually for sale in the shop right now.
my friends J & J throw a big old flea market on the farm every July. this year I was able to spend the whole weekend out at their place with my friend brooke. great vintage, company, food, drink.
kind of in love with my new tree stump side table that i ahem “found”. i think this comes from an old telephone pole!
well. hello! i’ve sure been gone awhile. summertime with a little boy at home has been like being a kid again and that is pretty rad. i have so many pictures to show. this was yesterday at the rhododendron garden, a place i had not been to, but will being back to for sure.
This one was taken on New Years day on our way to Mt. Hood for sledding. What a great way to start 2012. Unbelievable how fast you go…I will admit to being a little bit scarred but at the same time wanting to go again and again. Me = thrill seeker. haha.
This was taken on our way to the beach a couple of months ago. We hiked Neahkahnie Mountain and stripped down to our shirt sleeves, which was pretty awesome for February. Or for any time of the year really when it comes to the Oregon coast. Then we went down to the ocean to lay in the sand and play frisbee.
Pretty handmade lingerie spotted in downtown Portland.
